A Schiessl Family Easter

Happy Easter, everyone!  And if you don't celebrate Easter, happy Passover, or just happy long weekend.  If none of those apply to you, I apologize.  Happy reading my blog.  That works, right?

I took the liberty of photo-documenting what Easter looks like in the Schiessl household just to share with all of you.  Plus, do you know what a big, festive dinner means?  Lots of big, festive recipes to go along with it!

Take a look...

---------------

Ham, of course, with a honey & brown sugar glaze

Broccoli Casserole... the highlight of every holiday

Homemade Coleslaw, my dad's favorite

"Strawberry" Jello, courtesy of my grandma

Lemon Lush... my mom's favorite!

Strawberry cheesecake... a new experiment just for Easter

The whole spread, including the mashed potatoes that I left out.
Funny, because mashed potatoes are my absolute favorite ever!

Stay tuned this week for recipes to these delicious dishes!

What are your favorite family dishes for the holidays?
